Enhanced Online Security
Introducing ACBank Net Enhanced Online Security.
Internet Banking is more Secure than Ever.
With the new Enhanced Online Security, ACBank Net delivers the highest level of security for our Internet Banking customers. This added layer of security will help secure your information and protect you from identity theft and fraud.
Enhanced Online Security protects your information in two ways. When you login to ACBank Net, the bank confirms your identity, and it lets you confirm the identity of the ACBank Net website using an Authentication Image and Pass Phrase.
Register for Enhanced Online Security
To register for Enhanced Online Security, set your Security Data:
- Log in by entering your current Access ID.
- Click SUBMIT.
- Enter your current password.
- Click SUBMIT.
- Complete the Set Security Data form:
- Enter and confirm your current e-mail address.
- Enter a pass phrase for the randomly selected authentication image (See below to change your pass phrase or authentication image after you login.)
- Choose and provide the answers for 3 challenge questions.
- Select whether you are logging in with your personal computer, or a public computer.
Register only personal computers that you use frequently and are not available for public use.
- Click SUBMIT.
That's all! The next time you log in to ACBank Net, Enhanced Online Security will recognize you and display your private authentication image and your pass phrase.
Logging in to ACBank Net with Enhanced Online Security
Once you have registered for Enhanced Online Security, follow these steps to log in to ACBank Net:
- Log in by entering your current Access ID.
- Click SUBMIT.
- Your authentication image and pass phrase are displayed.
- If they match your private image and pass phrase, then enter your password.
WARNING: If the authentication image and pass phrase do not match, do NOT enter your password. Start over, or contact America California Bank at 415-986-5678 for assistance.
- Click SUBMIT.
That's all! You are now securely logged in to ACBank Net.
Log in from other locations
Follow theses steps to log in to ACBank Net from an unregistered or public computer:
- Log in by entering your current Access ID.
- Click SUBMIT.
- The system will detect that the computer is not registered and will ask you one of your Challange Questions, type in the correct answer to verify your identity. NOTE: Do not register this computer if is a public computer.
- Click SUBMIT.
- Your authentication image and pass phrase are displayed.
- If they match your private image and pass phrase, then enter your password.
WARNING: If the authentication image and pass phrase do not match, do NOT enter your password. Start over, or contact America California Bank at 415-986-5678 for assistance.
- Click SUBMIT.
That's all! You are now securely logged in to ACBank Net.
Changing your Authentication Image or Pass Phrase
ACBank Net's Enhanced Online Security has over 10,000 images for you to choose from. To select the one that's right for you or to change your Pass Phrase or Challange Questions, just follow these steps.
- Log in by entering your current Access ID.
- Click SUBMIT.
- Your authentication image and pass phrase are displayed.
- If they match your private image and pass phrase, then enter your password.
WARNING: If the authentication image and pass phrase do not match, do NOT enter your password. Start over, or contact America California Bank at 415-986-5678 for assistance.
- Click SUBMIT.
- Once logged in, Select Change Options from the menu bar.
- Select Change Security Data.
- Select Change Image to see a list of an images from the library, then click on the image to select it, or
- Enter a new pass phrase for the image, or
- Change and provide the answers for any of the challenge questions.
- Click SUBMIT.
That's all! The next time you log in to ACBank Net, your new authentication image and pass phrase will be displayed.
